Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) embodies the commitment of The First Capital Bank of Kentucky (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “our”, and “us”) to protecting the privacy of our customers (hereinafter referred to as “you” and “your”) and safeguarding the security and confidentiality of your information.   • All of our consumer customers who have a continuing relationship with us through the use of our products and services, such as:

    • safe deposit boxes;

    • retail installment contracts (that we hold and service);

    • IRA accounts for which we act as custodian.

Nonpublic personal information means information about you that we collect in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not include information that is available from public sources, such as telephone directories or government records. 

An affiliate is either a company that we own or control or a company that owns or controls us. Ownership does not mean complete ownership, but means owning enough to have control. 

A nonaffiliated third party is a company that is not an affiliate of ours. 

Opt out means a choice you can make to prevent certain sharing of information. We will explain how you can exercise this choice.

Federal law permits us to disclose the information listed in the preceding section of this Policy with our affiliates, as described below. In accordance with this Policy and federal law, you may opt out of the disclosure of this information.

  • to give you the benefit of the entire customer relationship when paying overdrafts and determining credit limits.

  • we only allow direct mail solicitations; and

  • we expressly prohibit telephone solicitations.

If you do not want us to disclose your nonpublic personal information to our affiliates or carefully selected nonaffiliated third parties, you can block the disclosure of this information (other than disclosures permitted by law) by exercising your right to opt out. Your decision to block the disclosure of your nonpublic information will apply to all products and services you receive from us. If you have a joint account, an opt out instruction given by one participant of this account will affect all participants of the account.
